Consorcio RICAM C.A. was incorporated in Venezuela on September 2005, as a procurement company, providers of goods and services to the oil industry focused on serving the fourth largest oil industry worldwide; Petroleos de Venezuela S.A. On September 2006 incorporates Consorcio RICAM Corporation on Delaware as its  North America office representatives, responsible of taking care of its clients on the very competitive and attractive market. In March 2007 began operations on the biggest market of the world; China, opening its office in Shanghai and establishing strategic alliances with the most important Chinese mills, being an important outlet for high quality industrial Chinese products worldwide.

On August 2007, Consorcio RICAM C.A. / Consorcio RICAM Corporation signed an Exclusive Dealer Agreement with Jiangsu Chengde Steel Tube Share Co.,Ltd as sole sales representative in the territories Venezuela and Panama.
